    The Figure Portfolio is a series of five screenprints released in 2023 by the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat. Each print is individually numbered, bears the official Estate stamp, and features the signatures of Lisane Basquiat and Jeanine Heriveaux, the artist’s sisters and administrators of the Estate. The portfolio reflects Basquiat’s distinctive visual language, combining raw figuration with text and symbolic forms that draw on Neo-Expressionist and Primitivist influences, while engaging directly with themes of identity, power, and social experience rooted in his cultural background.
